Been spending time with my 19 year old stepson and 21 year old stepdaughter. Nice to spend time with the family.

Getting better with therapy about losing @mbjerkness and my dad to a drunk driver. Able to sleep through the night now.

And I got a good job offering. 😊
Welcome to TCS ,nice to meet you

Very sorry for your loss

Duplo legos for littles are awesome. My kids never stopped playing with them!

I used to keep special fine motor skill tubs for DS when DD was starting homeschooling. But those didn’t help when what he needed was to MOVE. Id have loved a drop in play place like that. Our new library just got these special baby play stations where up through cruiser age can be safe and play/nap right next to their caregiver while they do computer work or study. I bet they will be so appreciated!!

In other positives; I got the mailbox, end of the driveway and front walk dug out. Then I got a wide enough path through the driveway shoveled that DH and any deliveries should be able to get in. My car isn’t dug out yet; but I’m not going anywhere anyway. DS did help a little so that was nice. But I haven’t shoveled so much in YEARS. I’ve already had a hot shower, coffee, a good breakfast, and an advil. I’m just proud I COULD do it! Got waved to a lot too.
I was out there digging today too.We had high winds last night. Shoveled out the mailbox and the wet wet snow on the apron of the driveway, plus the drifts. I haven't shoveled that much in years either. So it was nice for todays deliveries. Darn wind made so it needed additional shoveling every day.

 this new alarm system has "hey google" an alexa type thing that can play music etc so im makin gf listening a bunch of oldies with me as we work on the house:lol:
DH got me added to Apple Music a while back and my phone connects to our new car automatically sooo… yeah I make my kids listen to my playlists and commentary all the time.

DD is also on the Apple Music account so she just puts in earbuds and looks like a typical teenager. If its a longer than 10 minute drive and I’m not wanting music I put on podcasts for DS. He loves history and is super curious so there are some really good ones out there for older kids and teens.
