Yes. The sample cake on the website was pink, but we chose colors to match MerCat since that was sort of the theme we were going for. I let J choose the flavors - it was strawberry and yellow cake layers. She ended up being more interested in eating the modeling chocolate decorations. :lol:

I figured you picked out those beautiful colors because you always do and have such delightful themes for the girls (& their latest interest )

The stickers were so cute also,little ones love stickers ( better than coloring the walls,huh? 😂)

shes not really against my having survival stuff/gear ready for us.if i begin raising chickens and digging out bomb shelters she would freak out then:wavey:shes also known about my knife collection since the day we met:crazy:i just need to ease her into my wanting to get a few samurai swords to display around the house

I've been having a hard time figuring out to do with M on Tuesdays while J is at school because she just gets fussy and bored at home and it's too cold to play outside.

But yesterday I saw our park district is starting a Tuesday tot drop in playtime for only $3 through mid March and she's been having a blast running around a gym with balls and hula hoops. This will be great for us until the weather gets better!

Might be too small for a 1yr old as everything goes in the mouth!I'm not sure but I think they recommend 3yrs and up.... it's nice for Mom to be able to walk away for 5 seconds without having to worry about what they can grab...

My son loved leggos,I think I may enjoyed them more than him- lol I likes making Lego animals

Duplo legos for littles are awesome. My kids never stopped playing with them! :lol:

I used to keep special fine motor skill tubs for DS when DD was starting homeschooling. But those didn’t help when what he needed was to MOVE. Id have loved a drop in play place like that. Our new library just got these special baby play stations where up through cruiser age can be safe and play/nap right next to their caregiver while they do computer work or study. I bet they will be so appreciated!!


In other positives; I got the mailbox, end of the driveway and front walk dug out. Then I got a wide enough path through the driveway shoveled that DH and any deliveries should be able to get in. My car isn’t dug out yet; but I’m not going anywhere anyway. DS did help a little so that was nice. But I haven’t shoveled so much in YEARS. I’ve already had a hot shower, coffee, a good breakfast, and an advil. :lol: I’m just proud I COULD do it! :lol: Got waved to a lot too. :lol:

A zillion legos at my house in years past. I still have memories and maybe a few scars from stepping on them when they were lost in the shag carpet..

I don't remember where I posted but if anyone remembers there was a little white kitty brought to me by the scruff of the neck-maybe 5 weeks ago? I Don't remember,the kitty was thrown outside( literally) kicked,hit and had a broken shoulder that required surgery....the woman was arrested by the police for animal abuse...

Well ,I just got an update- she has been kept at the Vets office that did the surgery all this time,she's doing well and is going into foster care today with an elderly woman who has a very sweet,gentle, kitten loving GSD who I'm told has nurtured many a kitten,lol

Until she is fully healed and spayed she will then be ready for adoption through our Shelter who made this all possible .....

I asked for a photo so I'll share when I get one..... that's a positive story for the wee one.... my friend seems pretty sure the foster is not going to want to give this one up,lol- we shall see
