The post office had lost my first package of Christmas clothes from Children's Place, but they were nice enough to ship me a replacement that came today. Now my girls can be festive!

Look at these adorable shirts that came in our big pile of clothes.

Very exciting to think about it all. Bet you aren’t sleeping much. My best advice is move in first, spend money only after you know there are no surprise necessary expenditures.

With induction stoves you can get a discount! I just got one it’s great. A bit Sci Fi though.

If you really cook a lot I would recommend Viking or Wolf. They are well made but pricey.

Applied for a loan so I can get a service animal (Up here in Manitoba we have different laws than the ADA in the States, so I can use a bird as a service animal). It's a small loan, but I am soooo nervous that I won't be approved. I might be accepted, tho, so fingers crossed.

We went to our annual White Elephant party today. We've been going for at least 15 years although DH thinks it's been longer. We always enjoy ourselves but the gift exchange this year was hilarious. Some of the gifts were practical, some were decorative and some were downright naughty. Here's a pic of one of the more festive ones.

The bad: Wasn't approved for the loan I wanted.

HOWEVER:
The bird breeder I spoke to says she likes me as a potential bird slave. Gonna do a zoom interview with her so she knows what my home is like, etc. Wants to see the cage (still have to pick that up) I have for the pending burdee. SO EXCITED!
