After 15 minutes of KITTEN!CHAOS! before bed, the brats are all asleep. They're cute, but my word... I was going to murder something if the noise and commotion between the dog and Omen didn't end. Omen was knocking stuff over, jumping on the wall, and pulling documents off the wall that I needed. He was in the garbage and recycling bins and then tormented the poor dog to play. Now he's pooped and the dog is relaxed and poor Puddles doesn't have to endure the escapades of a 5-month-old kitten.

Bonus is that this Friday Omen is getting neutered!! **Sings the Hallelujah chorus**
He does look like he could be a devil. I once had a petite and crazy siamese and she was just insane most of the time. He has that same look.

I just love his name. I want to start singing “Suddenly Seymour” from The Little Shop of Horrors when I read it.
I can't tell you how many people have said that too. And we did name him that after the movie but it was because of his ravenous appetite, poor guy had a rough start. I kept thinking of the line from the movie, "Feed me Seymour, Feed me!"

I lost my boy, Sundar, a week ago today, which really doesn't sound like a positive. But I've had cards, flowers, phone calls and lovely rememberences of his life with friends and for that I'm so grateful. I've realised he had an impact on lots of people, apart from myself, and I feel so grateful to have had him in my life. It's bittersweet, but definitely positive.

I got a haircut this morning! I think my last one was like August 2023, so it was well overdue. I'm enjoying the look of the freshly cut ends.
Do you wear your hair long?I imagine it must be a longish style since it's not been cut in over a year, lol I do love long hair myself. I'm glad your happy with your cut- enjoy your fresh cut!

1) Omen is officially an 'it'!
2) I have a friend at a craft sale tomorrow and she's given me some space on her table for the stickers and artwork I'm selling. If I'm lucky, I'll have some Christmas stickers sold...
Hi vampiric_conure vampiric_conure ,did I miss something🤔What do you mean that Omen is an "it" officially?:dunno:

What kind of stickers did you make ,I know you're an artist and I'm wondering if you posted your sticker design someplace I didn't see?

I do. It's back to shoulder length now which is good for this stage of my life - long enough to pull back, but short enough that combing and detangling will take less time.

I love that for exactly those reasons, perfect for a very busy Mommy/wifey.... hair is the last thing you want to be having to spend time on,time you really don't have:runningcat::climbcat::dizzycat:🤣🤣🤣

LOL.. No Probelm! He got neutered, so he's no longer a 'he', but an 'it' :D.

As for stickers.. I make original art stickers on sticker paper. I use pencil crayons, gouache, and Ink. One day I might make actual printed stickers, but for now, it's all real art on sticker paper. :)

We met friends for brunch who although we like very much don't get to see too often due to their jobs. We always sit and talk forever too. It was nice that the waitstaff didn't rush us or make us leave. 😊

The vet just called with the results of Mooch’s bloodwork and they were really good!! She is 3 months from turning 20 and I haven’t had labs done recently so I didn’t what to expect. Surprised us all!! A few numbers were a little elevated but not surprising to the vet given how she was dehydrated and day 6 of the runs. :paperbag: Just a mild uti and something to help her belly get back on track is all she has for me to pick up.

Mooch also greeted me singing her heart out for breakfast. After getting DH to give her more baby food before I got up.
