I finally got to try a local coffee shop today. I still don’t know how to properly order fancy coffee but this is one of the best lattes I’ve ever had. :cloud9:
she is gorgeous!!!!
Thank you she is my baby. :redheartpump: Currently giving me looks because I told DS he needs to get up and load the dishwasher which will disrupt her cozy spot between him and the arm of the couch  But still my baby.

I didn't know she was a tuxedo
With the arthritis I don’t get as many pictures of her standing or in motion anymore. I was concerned about how she might do on our new floors because the sheet vinyl in the kitchen can have one leg sliding out from underneath her. But she’s been fine! I’ll have an area rug eventually anyway. My moms old dog would slip on her hardwood floors if she didn’t have a runner for her. These do have some texture so maybe that’s helping. She did well with the upheaval too.

For that exact reason I have several area rugs on our kitchen floor which is hardwood. Carleton has some arthritis too so he prefers to sit on the rugs. It just makes it easier for him to get comfortable when he's watching the birds, chipmunks or bunnies from the patio door. 😸

Never had this happen before. I bought a small pottery vase for a couple dollars this morning and before I brought it into the house I tipped it upside down, as I always do, just to make sure I don’t bring in any bugs. As I tipped it I could feel something not very heavy moving around out and was pleasantly surprise to find this .

I'm sure you were very pleasantly surprised. I showed the vase to DH since he loves pottery as well as buying and selling antiques as a hobby. He said it's interesting and asked if there are any markings on the bottom.
It has initials “JB” on the bottom but I don’t think it’s vintage as the clay looks modern. I really do like it’s glazing pattern.

How come her outfit covers her hands? Some kind of sleeper to keep warm?
It's a sleep sack, what you use before blankets for babies and toddlers. I use the zipadeezip brand that cover hands because that's what my friend passed on, and she can't climb out of the crib wearing it. We're working on getting her an actual bed soon because M's going to outgrow the bassinet and need the crib, and I'll probably switch to blankets then.

Before meeting old college friends yesterday I met my daughter for coffee and a snack at one of my favorite hotels built in the 1890's. A photographer was taking pics of a wedding party but I was taking pics of the hotel lobby. It was a great day to be in the city and spend it with people I love. :hearthrob:

Carleton saw a new groomer two weeks ago. She didn't want to stress him out anymore than necessary so asked us to come back today to finish. My positive is it worked out great and Carleton looks so handsome. I appreciate that she took the time to do what was best for him. :lovecat3:

Free squirrel food! Someone advertised that they had bins of acorns to give away so I took a full tote of them. I have to sort and float them to get rid of the bad ones, then I will dry, bag and freeze them for winter squirrel and wildlife feeding.
