With the arthritis I don’t get as many pictures of her standing or in motion anymore. I was concerned about how she might do on our new floors because the sheet vinyl in the kitchen can have one leg sliding out from underneath her. But she’s been fine! I’ll have an area rug eventually anyway. My moms old dog would slip on her hardwood floors if she didn’t have a runner for her. These do have some texture so maybe that’s helping. She did well with the upheaval too.I didn't know she was a tuxedo
For that exact reason I have several area rugs on our kitchen floor which is hardwood. Carleton has some arthritis too so he prefers to sit on the rugs. It just makes it easier for him to get comfortable when he's watching the birds, chipmunks or bunnies from the patio door. With the arthritis I don’t get as many pictures of her standing or in motion anymore. I'm sure you were very pleasantly surprised. I showed the vase to DH since he loves pottery as well as buying and selling antiques as a hobby. He said it's interesting and asked if there are any markings on the bottom.I bought a small pottery vase for a couple dollars this morning
It has initials “JB” on the bottom but I don’t think it’s vintage as the clay looks modern. I really do like it’s glazing pattern.I'm sure you were very pleasantly surprised. Sorry, he said the initials JB doesn't ring a bell and he agrees it doesn't look that old but said it's nice looking pottery so enjoy. It has initials “JB” on the bottom but I don’t think it’s vintage as the clay looks modern. I really do like it’s glazing pattern.
How come her outfit covers her hands? Some kind of sleeper to keep warm? This happened when I put J on the couch yesterday morning.
It's a sleep sack, what you use before blankets for babies and toddlers. I use the zipadeezip brand that cover hands because that's what my friend passed on, and she can't climb out of the crib wearing it. We're working on getting her an actual bed soon because M's going to outgrow the bassinet and need the crib, and I'll probably switch to blankets then. How come her outfit covers her hands? Isn’t that just gorgeous! Before meeting old college friends yesterday I met my daughter for coffee and a snack at one of my favorite hotels built in the 1890's. A photographer was taking pics of a wedding party but I was taking pics of the hotel lobby. It was a great day to be in the city and spend it with people I love.
