I have one bridge and one implant. The implant was way more expensive and there were a couple of sore mouth days but after the first couple visits it is much easier. Once you get the tooth in the implant it feels just like any other tooth. For people who don’t know what a bridge is it’s where you have three teeth connected, regular teeth on both sides and the replacement tooth in the middle. Both of the outside teeth have to be capped to connect the fake tooth. The problem with them is that if you should have a cavity or anything go wrong with either real tooth, the whole bridge needs to be replaced, and that is expensive.Lucky, my dental appointments never cancel - I have a big fear of going to the dentist. As soon as I hear the drill I want to get out of the chair and run. I'm going through a dental implant now. Even though it's a long process, not to mention expensive, I know it will be worth it when it's over. If your teeth are molars or near the back of your mouth I understand you not wanting to go through the lengthy procedure for an implant but if its in the front like one of mine you may want to reconsider. Dentures have their own set of problems so when you reschedule your appointment ask your dentist about the downside of them. Good luck!
