Mooch got sick on me Friday evening but is looking so much better and finally eating good again today! She ate a whole can while I was out for a few hours and wanted more! She couldn’t do more than stumble on Saturday so I was pretty concerned and helping her a lot. She’s 16 and the vet says she has arthritis in her lower spine so her back end is already weaker. She’s got a tiny limp at the moment but looks awfully content in a doll bed under the cat tree. :redheartpump: I’m so so thankful!!

Mooch is continuing to improve! She climbed her steps to sit on the couch with DS this afternoon! She ate a whole can if chunky turkey too! She’s still been in her doll bed most of the time but really that’s not that different. Plus it’s right by a vent for the ac. She’s back to being chatty when I walk by too. :redheartpump:

Small but nice positive - I finally finished my library book after renewing it several times. 📖 I had the best intentions but whenever I set aside time to read something always got in the way, that is until today!

Its good they allowed renewals. I don’t borrow because I get stressed by having a time limit and my library won’t do renewals on newer materials.

My daughter had her first proper day off in about two months, so she was able to take Hobbit to an aquarium not too far from us. Hobbit loves my goldfish tank, so she assumed he would like the big fish: She was correct!

The first two are stills from a video of him running with excitement because he could see a tank in front of him. Towards the end of the video, he stops because he figures out there is a tank next to him!

A good trip to the thrift store today, a puzzle for me that I will probably start today and a Hexbug Nano for Willow. She seemed to be having fun watching it until the button battery died. Part two of the positive is that I just happened to have a six pack of the right battery. Its an odd size one that I had to order on the internet years ago for her laser pointer and have kept them even though I had no longer had a use for them. She isn’t getting too close because you never know it might grab her.

Today my hangars arrive and I am pretty happy about it. Not any old hangars but ones that match all of the rest of the ones in my closets. They need to exactly match each other or it drives me crazy. I used to be able to pick up these extra large extra thick white hangars at a local store but they haven’t carried them for a few years and when my son moved out he took quite a few with. But I just found them on Amazon. They come in packs of 24 so that should have me set forever.

I'll be too lazy to curl it! I like that it's long enough to pull back, but a lot less work to brush and wash.
I had long hair like yours when my son was a baby and I was always unwinding strands that would get wrapped around his tiny fingers and then when he got a bit older he would purposefully grab a handful. Your new length is the way to go.

Thanks to all the rain we got over the past week the grass we planted along the side of the house has grown and fortunately no weeds have popped up where we laid mesh fabric, mulch and brick pavers. 🌱 The flowers on the patio are lush too.🥀
