I would not waste your money on that one! I bought it for Tuxxie.. Nope! Please Look at the negative reviews! They are true.I tried it out once. I the dry food got caught so tightly in-between the 'corridors' that even I had a difficult time taking it out. It does not work for cats. I do not know if it would even work for dogs. I had to use my fingernail to get the dry food out. It gets packed in so tightly.
LOL, I'm laughing because DH returned it to the pet store this morning. Poor Seymour was so frustrated he could only get one piece of food out and looked up at me with such pitiful eyes. 😾 I'm feeding him smaller portions more often instead to compensate. Problem solved, he's much happier now.

Smart people thinking alike!! So Funny :flail:
Yeah, that is pretty much what I am doing..

Since Tux did not eat all his breakfast with the Zykene yesterday; I gave him a smaller portion of food this morning with the Zyklene mixed in it... It works..

Oh, Have you tried a tunnel yet?? I got one for Tux, a crinkly one with a bit of fleece at edges, a dangling fleece ball, and an opening in the middle.. It is great. Tux loves it! I am sure Seymour would love it also.. Maybe a Christmas gift??

If doing small portions, an auto-feeder has kind of changed my life. I've had gorgers/regurgitators and it was hard to time/control a Tbsp here and there. The auto feeder can drop about that much every so often. It's so nice. Weight is kept pretty stable too. Just another thought!

EVERY CAT should have a tunnel! Ours has been enjoyed for years, in houses and in the catio in the Mojave, by many feline family members.

I have two of those exact cat tunnels and have had them over 30 years! Blue nylon on the outside and fleece on the inside. One end has extra nylon and a drawstring to be able to make the opening smaller or close it off completely.

My cat Long Legs loves to run through that tunnel at a gallop and often hides inside to ambush the other cats. Unfortunately a couple months ago, he got tangled up in the tunnel when I had the end closed halfway, rolled it across the floor and got his back legs tangled up in that extra nylon. Scared him half to death and he avoided it completely until just recently but he's back to using it almost daily again.

Yesterday Seymour got his get out of jail card, i.e. the run of the house with careful supervision. He was more than ready and went running down the stairs followed by checking out the patio door which was Carleton's favorite spot too. :heartshape:

Seymour had his first official vet exam today. There were a few minor things that have to be addressed especially a dental cleaning, (no surprise considering where he came from before we adopted him). But overall the vet was pleased with his demeanor and health.:yess:

He was thirsty and tired after we got home so a snack and afternoon nap were in order, for me too!

Great news -- I'm so glad to hear this! Hoping your snack and naps were fulfilling, and wishing you both a good evening/night! :redheartpump: :redtabby::redheartpump::agree:

Congratulations 🎊
Seymour is so handsome! Also love the name. I'm glad he has a clean bill of health.

Ghostie had so many hairballs his first 6 months, despite daily brushing. Just as his hair got all sorted. We gave him coconut oil, which helped. But he also likes a bit of nori, lettuce or bok choy daily. Usually pumpkin is my go to but he has no interest.

Today is exactly 6 weeks since we adopted Seymour and he has adjusted well. He knows our routine especially where we keep his food. :yummy: He even knows what time we set the alarm to wake up for the gym during the week because on weekends when we try to sleep in he jumps in bed, goes up to our pillows and purrs loudly in our ear to get up. Some of his habits remind me so much of Carleton especially when he sits in the same exact spots where Carleton liked to sit, lays in bed on my laundry or how he likes to inspect shopping bags. It's bittersweet but he has acclimated nicely. I keep telling him how much I love him and this is his forever home.:lovecat3:

He looks so much happier now than he did in the first pictures you posted. He`s obviously made himself right at home.:heartshape:
Yes, he certainly has adapted to our home. The breed tends to look grumpy but considering his former background before the rescue got involved he was basically abandoned. One of the foster mom's requirements for adoption was a quiet home. Having adopted cats for so many years it still amazes me how much a cat changes when they are fed good food, groomed, have a warm bed and people who love them. :lovecat2:

So happy Seymour is settling in to his new home. Like you said neely it is always amazing to see how they change when they get fed good food, are groomed, have a warm bed and people who love them. To me it is like a flower blossoming and a wonderful transformation to witness. I am happy for your whole family❤❤❤
