The Nearly Perfect Cat Treat....

Dr Elsey's Salmon cat food is far and away my cat's favorite treat, even though it isn't marketed as a treat at all, and instead is a super premium dry cat food. Because it is a carb free high protein dry cat food, there is no real need to limit its consumption ( beyond hydration concerns if those apply to your cat), since it is nutritionally complete.

My cat goes gaga over it, too. She loves it so much that she'll calmly let me pill her just to get a few pieces of magic kibble...

Has any one else tried it as a treat?

I haven't but I've used taste of the wild kibble as a treat

No. We usually use Pure Bites or plain cooked meat like chicken or turkey as treats

We give Dr. Elsey's chicken kibble as a nighttime treat!

Essentially I'm doing the same only with Tiki cat chicken and fish luau. It also is a grain free high protein kibble. The girls get about a tablespoon as a snack in between wet meals.

My girl doesn't like the Dr. Elsey's dry cat food But she does get Wysong Epigen 90 as a snack and Wysong Freeze Dried Quail as a treat or topper
