Hi all! My name is Angie and I like animals, but I've never been much of a cat person until but about 2 years ago when I moved to an estate that houses a population of strays. I fell in love with their antics, and I've been caring for them, feeding, sterilising and taking them to the vet, with the help of my cat-loving neighbours. My phone is always running out of space because it's constantly filled with pictures of the cats lol I decided to share my pictures and videos online because I want more people to know that stray cats too can be friendly, sweet and affectionate if treated right, and all cats deserve to be loved. I know you guys love seeing happy cats, so here I am! I'll post in random order because I have such a huge backlog that sieving through and organising them is taking ages.
This is Crooktail, probably my favourite cat of all. She is named as such because her tail ends in a hook, which you can't see in this video but I'll post more pictures in future. She is extremely loving and is always rubbing my legs whenever she gets the chance. She got pregnant last year before I could take her for sterilisation, and I felt sorry for her so I did my best to give her extra food and attention, and I guess that's why she's so trusting towards me. She forgave me almost immediately after I took her back from her the scary vet.
This is another of my favourite tabby cat Xiaojie. Xiaojie in Chinese (小姐) means little lady, and although Xiaojie is a boy, he is such an attention seeker with a high-pitched mewing voice, who gets visibly upset and sulky when there are other cats stealing his attention that I think of him as a fussy little miss. You'll definitely see a lot more of him here. He is too cute! He is the cat in the first picture in this thread.
These are Charlie (Tuxedo) and Fuzzy (Tabby), another of my favourites (I have too many favourites! lol). Charlie is a docile cat who loves pats and massages. He is also one of the rare ones who's ok with people touching his belly! Fuzzy was just a kitten last year (she was born in our estate) and now she's a greedy, chubby and playful thing. This is all for now. I'll be back with more soon!
This cat lives in another neighbourhood but I can't not share this. What a gorgeous, fluffy, fat white tabby! And she was so friendly too! I saw her loitering around the neighbourhood shops and when I went up to her, she just started rubbing and rolling. She must be well-loved by the residents.
They are gorgeous kitties! I used to be not much of a cat person either until two years ago (just like you lol) when some feral and stray cats started showing up at our house and I started caring for them. I have lost my heart to these cats lol. Look forward to seeing more of your kitties!!
@kurocatlady ! Love how you love the ferals. Bet there's no coyotes in Singapore to eat them, like here. Maybe some pictures of Singapore in the appropriate thread?
