I've been doing lots of long walks this week. I have to dodge the monsoon rains as best I can, but I've got waterproof hiking clothes so it's not been so bad.

A few pics from my walks this week.

There's usually a nice view of Fuji through this gap in the trees, but it's a bit underwhelming when it's cloudy.

Is everyone else still going strong?

It's been so hot this week. I had a long walk on Sunday, but I've spent most of the week doing outdoor chores. I've weeded the front garden, replaced the bits of fence that were damaged and sorted out a load of wood for my next project. I've done yoga every day, but I think it's getting close to the season where I have to get up early in the morning to walk without melting.

This weekend I cleaned up the wood chopping area and got all the wood nicely stacked, then put together a big box of discarded steel mesh and wire that is too bent to be used for fence repairs anymore. Going to take it to the dumpster tomorrow.

Tried to walk yesterday after 5 pm but it was still too hot. I only managed 45 minutes. 90 minutes of yoga yesterday and today. I wonder if I should be very ambitious and try to get up early for a walk tomorrow?

I managed to get up early enough for an 8 am walk today. It was already sweltering at that time. My underwhelming picture of Mount Fuji looked a bit better today though.

90 minutes yoga and 30 minutes archery practice on Tuesday.
Another 90 minute early morning walk on Wednesday, then 45 minutes yoga in the afternoon.
90 minutes walk today.

How's everyone else doing? This is turning into Norachan's obsessive compulsive exercising disorder thread.

Too hot and muggy to do much of anything.
Unfortunately, it has been way to hot and humid to do anything
It's really hot and sticky here too. We're in the season of tropical storms, which means heavy rain and high temps. The early morning walks seem to be the best thing, if I can haul my butt out of bed before 7 am

I'm going to stroller strides tomorrow, but I haven't been doing great.
Every little bit counts! Have fun at stroller strides.

2 hours of very slow yoga today, with lots of breaks for a cool drink

I got woken up early by the cats, but that was a good thing because it made me get out of bed early enough to walk. I found a road I hadn't explored before, which led to a park I never knew existed. I'm sure there must be another access road from the park that links up with one of the trails I know, but I couldn't find it. I just did a lap of the park then came home the way I went.

Good job I got out early. It started raining just after I got home, then we had heavy thunder all afternoon.

2 hour walk and 1 hour of yoga today.

I have another yabusame lesson with the ponies tomorrow. Hope it's a little cooler than it has been today.

I spent all day at the stables on Friday. It was so hot! We fed and groomed the horses, rode for an hour in the forest, did some archery practice and then practiced yabusame with the ponies for about 30 minutes.

We had to hose the horses down after our ride as they were so sweaty. I did a lot of chores around the stables, such as sweeping, fetching buckets of water and grooming the dogs too. Plenty of exercise on Friday.

Saturday I did an hour of yoga, Sunday 45 minutes of yoga and some yard work. Today I had an hour long early morning walk and then about 30 minutes yoga. I've been working on a woodwork project as well this week.
