Bless these people for taking these orphan cats in. It is sad that they lost their pet parents to this this pandemic. I think we all need to ask ourselves the hard question; If something was to happen to me--who would take care of my cats/pets? We need to have a plan and pick the best people to care for our pets should we depart this world.

Bless the shelter people and the little ones. I hope all of them stay well and safe.

My country has been fortunate to avoid the worst of the pandemic but we still have more abandonment cases due to people losing their jobs/income, leaving the country for their homes, or even sheer ignorance and fear of their pets carrying the virus. :frown:

Such a lovely idea. I know Battersea here in the UK had an advert last summer where the main message was "pets are for life, not just for lockdown" as even back then they'd had people who had abandoned dogs and cats at their shelter because they had given up with them.
