We've had some adoptions!

Tony the kitten found a home
JJ the gorgeous tabby as well

And then (drum roll please) Ariel found a home! She arrived as an abandoned kitten 7/30/17 and struggled with eye issues on and off. One eye is permanently damaged but she has filled out (she was skinny!), is doing well, and has finally found a family!

That's great news!

How badly is Ariel's eye damaged? Is her vision affected or is it just that her third eyelid is permanently exposed?

I think she is partially blind as it has scar-tissue on it from an ulcer. However, it doesn't slow her down. : )

A gorgeous ginger girl! Is that unusual where you are gitabooks gitabooks ?
She is beautiful!

We actually get some pretty unusual colors for being out in the country. We get different shades of orange tabby and blues/greys almost as often as black (or black and white) and brown tabby cats.

Kerry, Polar and Anastasia all found families!

Kerry the sweet little black and white cat

Anastasia (came in with Annabelle, I think they are sisters)

Polar (in the TV hidey box. It is one of those old, large TVs without any of the inner workings. When they lay in it they look like they are on a TV screen!) You can't tell from this picture, but he is an odd-eyed cat. We've gotten a number of white cats with grey markings on their head. This is at least the fourth one that I know of.

I forget what Anastasia was looking at, but sometimes you have to make funny noises to get them to look up. Cats get so distracted during photos. : )

Lucky Bubbles and Alice.

Bubbles looks like she's been wearing a corset in that picture, has she recently been spayed?
She was spayed fairly recently. She also came in VERY thin and is gaining weight.
