Simba Rahmtulla was taken to the vet and I'm relieved that his pain comes from a cat bite wound. (Relieved because it is not related to his disease) I know he should not be out and I'm ashamed to say I relented because of a pair of big, orange, eyes that were pleading at the door. It was only for a short field trip to see his buddies....bad idea. I appreciate your advice-I took it and feel much better. Both of your cats are very cute,(Sim is much like the orange tabby of yours only a few lbs. heavier!) One of these days I will learn how to download pictures and will put my three on display! I have a siamese manx,Chop Stix, a orange/black/white/brown calico,Page, and of course my poor neurotic Simba, orange tabby.

I'm glad you found out what it was. Cat bite wounds can often get infected. Did his?

By the way my tabby Gezer is also a few pounds heavier now...
The picture was taken when he was 5 months old
