I feel I need to say a big 'thank you' to posters on this site, who have been so incredibly kind when posting about the loss of my precious Sammy. The past year has been filled with doubts, recriminations and sorrow, but your support has been genuinely appreciated, and helped me enormously.

Tomorrow is one year since we lost him.

Your comments have been incredibly kind, insightful and thoughtful.

I wasn't around a year ago, but it sounds like you got so much support, and that's so cool A year goes by so fast. It'll be a year on August 8th that I lost my bottle raised cat and it seems unreal it's already been so long. Hugs to you.

Posters on the site have been so understanding, and have been such a support after losing my baby boy.

Cat 'owners' are often portrayed as 'sad cat women', but I feel this forum has been so supportive in my loss; thank you so much for that.

It has been so valuable to hear from other people in similar situations.

You are very welcome. We know how incredibly soul-destroying times like these are when you lose a little one. We can empathize and hope it helps fro you to know you are NOT alone.
