Does anyone here have a feline family member who has been diagnosed with Tetrology of Fallot? (A 4-part heart defect).
My intention is to find folks to exchange ideas and information with regarding this heart defect. I adopted my second cat, that I named IsaBella, with Radial Hypoplasia in November and she was more recently diagnosed with Tetrology of Fallot. She has a cardiologist and is on medication.
The cardiologist stated that cats with this defect generally do not live more than a year, year and a half and my Isabella is over 2-1/2 years old now, so she wants to live. She is exercise intolerant, but does like to play. It's difficult watching her breathing after she plays, eats, crosses the room, etc.
Would love to have someone to correspond with that is familiar with Tetrology of Fallot. I love my special needs babies more than anything and just want IsaBella to have the best quality of life that she can have.
Thank you for reading. Here are a couple of photos of precious IsaBella!
p.s. I don't know how to get just one image, sorry for the doubles.
