Tell A Story When Your Cat Did Something Naughty

Heh heh... > I'll tell you something Happy did that was naughty:

My dad brought in some eggs from our chickens. Happy jumped up on the counter top and my dad didn't want him up there so he grabbed him to put him back down. Happy started squirming to get out of his hands and his paw hit one of the eggs, which fell on the floor and broke. Lol. XD

Oh my little baby blue Xena does so much "naughty". I suppose the one incident that sticks out in my mind is when she decided she needed extra food for the day. Well she found my treat jar on my desk, and knocked it on the floor. The hilarity that ensued was, DH trying to scoop them all up before she ate them all...... she won.

We're pretty lucky that both of our cats aren't overly naughty.  However, when we first adopted Cocoabean, she was more curious than now.  Once, she evidently leaped from floor, to a side table and up onto our mantle.  Among the items knocked to the floor was one of a pair of very expensive, one-of-a-kind, artisan stained glass candle holders that were a gift to me years ago.  The leading bent on impact, and although the glass didn't break, that one is pretty much ruined now.  I tried to "bend" it back straight but it's all wonky looking and I was afraid if I pressed too hard, it would crack.  

I wasn't angry with her, not like it was on purpose but it taught me a good lesson about keeping precious items behind closed cabinet doors

Our cat, will try to grab/knock your glasses off of the night stand. If she is successful she will try to drag them and hide them under the bed.

Sylvia Rose, our five year old dilute calico, is very smart, and like most calicos finds ways to get what she wants. She has learned to open the freezer by hopping up on the refrigerator and pushing against the seal with her paws. Once she has accomplished this task, she then goes inside and removes all of the frozen vegetables from atop the container of catnip. She then tosses the catnip container onto the floor (amongst the vegetables) so that it opens, and hops back down to have her fun. I'll point out now that she has many, many catnip toys constantly at her disposal. I think she enjoys the challenge. She has also learned to turn on the touch lamp and paw it three times to get it warm enough to bask under. She opens the cd player, turns on the VCR and opens the linen closet. This last task, she will perform for her little half brother, Montgomery, if she sees him standing there trying, because he can't do it.

Our 9 month old kitten attacks mine and my daughter's toes if they are peeking out from under the covers. Ouch, not a good way to be woken up.

I had a 8 week old kitten and she used to come to bed with me and my daughter and she used jump on my daughters face throughout the night haha x

I guess I don't think of resident kitty antics as naughty, more mischievous, but Mouse is pretty good at it...

When he was little it was biting my arm coz he reckoned that was the best way to get attention if he was bored, but he's now learned that sneaking up for cuddles works better.  Sadly he hasn't learned not to chew paper -

Any paper items in visitors' bags -  paper money.  He has been seen running out of my guest bedroom and along the hall with a look of glee on his face and a £5 note between his teeth. 

  (We did get it back in one piece eventually).  Also postcards:  he likes to add his tooth print greeting to visitors' friends and family. 

Last week he managed to get in to the sitting room at night and chewed the ribbon holding my 'important documents folder' closed,  pulled out the knott in the ribbon so he could get at all the papers.  He then proceeded to chew at all the dividers and edges of the letters and documents.  He pulled out credit card statements and tax statements and chewed them up too but thankfully not so much they couldn't be read  - just so the edges were more like paper mache.   Now I need a new folder and think it's going to have to be a hard plastic or metal one with a lid. Expensive cat this one.... shame I can't get him to learn which things I want shredded and which ones I don't.

Lilith likes to steal my daughter's bath pouf out of her shower. She will take it in my room and hide it under the bed. I put it back and got a new one out of the closet for her to play with. She wanted that one and hid it under the bed but then she went and took my daughter's again.

I own two cats who are master escape artists when it comes to getting outside.  They have great timing when it comes to running out the door while people walk in.  My youngest one, Ace, loves knocking things off tables, stealing stuffed animals from the family, and finding ways to get into food bags when no one is around.

Well now Happy just through a box of Cheerios on the floor...if you're wondering, it is open. Well I'm going to have fun cleaning this up

My cat used to go in the sink to drink water (still does sometimes) and dump glasses with water over to get the water so he could drink it after it spilled.  He finally drinks from his own bowl and sometimes the dog's.  He also likes to paw open the screen door and sneak outside.  He likes to swipe things like pens and knock them off the table or counter so he can chase them.  Now that our cat and dog are getting along he also does the sneak outside when we take the dog out thing.

Miss Clementine thought it would be ... Enlightening... to eat through the Christmas lights last year. Naughty Kitty!

Nia Maura did her teething on my stereo when she was a kitten - I still haven't taken the speakers in to be repaired and she'll be ten this year. She also ate the runners on our bentwood rocker. Freakishly strong cat! I'd forgotten about that, until now!

I came home today to find my oven door open and my tubby sleeping in it.... I have no idea wat went on wen I was at work...

also, the Rogue once jumped into the washing machine... did a hamster on the wheel act, I rushed for my camera and got a blurred image of him doing it

, but jumped out before I could try again.

Foley can and likes to open every cabinet in my apartment. The one under the sink I have to keep locked with a zip tie because I have roach poison there. Sometimes I open it and forget to put the zip tie back on and find the door open.

Before Maia was spayed and was in heat she liked to run herself against the floor. Like she would sit and with her front paws she would drag herself through the kitchen floor and the carpet in my bedroom. Well, one time it was 5am and I started smelling this poopy stink and when I grabbed Maia she was all wet (yuck) so I bathed her immediately. The smell was still there mostly in the bedroom. We looked everywhere and didn't find anything at first I think a week passed and I looked behind an old tv we have stored and surprise the princess had pooped there. I think she learned her lesson with the morning shower because she never did it again.
