My cat didn't eat for three days but was put on medication that has helped her. Today she had mouth x-rays and a teeth cleaning and we were expecting to pull teeth out but my vet said that he saw something he's never seen before. Not sure what that totally means. He didn't want to pull any teeth out and said there seemed to be a problem with her teeth ligament? He said she is still a mystery and no one at the office has seen this before either. She does have a history with lip ulcers. What should I do next?

I'd get a second opinion from a veterinary dentist. If there are none in your area, ask your vet to consult with a dentist at a veterinary school or other vet hospital.

agree. Or at least have YOUR Vet consult with a Veterinary Dentist about what they saw so they can give you a better idea of what's going on. Then you can make a plan of what to do next. Your Vet should be able to share all of today's xrays with the Veterinary Dentist.
