Hi I have a cat with gingivitis whom is waiting for dental treatment . My cat was 11Lb in weight but now 8lb 3 is there anyone on here who has had same problem as the vet now has him on antibiotics and anti inflammatory and liver supplement and seems to be eating a little more now . I’m hoping he will gain some weight to have his dental treatment Thankyou to all that read this

Yes he was put on fluids and also full blood works his kidneys etc was fine just his liver enzymes was slightly high and he has some teeth that broken at the back to his gums and gingivitis of the gums . Thankyou for your reply
