Since we have gotten the kittens, the common debate in my house has been their breed.

I, personally, think the kittens are good old tabbys!
My mother swears they must have Egyptian mau in them.
My step father thinks bengal (strongly disagree, personally)

Do you guys think they could be a mix? I'm partially tempted to get a test done to see but... I seriously think domestic shorthair/tabby. Their mother was solid black, though I have no idea what their father was.

P.S Yes -- they do think they are models. No, I refuse to pay them for their modeling services.

Yes attractive pair, they are quite photogenic. They could pass for siblings of Pimenta, who could easily pass for a Bengal or Sokokê despite being 100% brazilian feral (the only difference Pimenta has from those two rarified breeds is that her eyes are light brown instead of green).

You said their mother was solid black- did you mean Pantera (in the background, Pimenta is in the foreground)?
In the summer Pantera's fur bleaches out a bit and in full daylight you can see very faint tabby striping. Maybe like Pantera, their mother was brazilian?:thumbsup:
