Big Boy, my Maine Coon mix, had a bunch of hair clumps, particularly on or near his back end, in part because I got a bit too inattentive with the brushing. One of them was quite big, but this morning I noticed it looked a bit loose; so a series of gentle tugs, and his yowling and batting at my hand, and off it came.

That’s one clump of hair. A lot, about the size of a mouse.

Big Boy himself is none the worse for wear, and still my buddy, competing with Tar Baby in the background for attention.

The hair clump is next to him; I think he’s glad to be rid of it.

tie a hook to it and that would become a good bass lure then
