This will be the third year that we will be out of town for about 2 months.
Our cats spend this time at my parents house, whom my cats know and like. ( we have two cats)
We usually take them over there several times for a few hours each time before we leave to help them get used to it, sometimes it even seems like they remember the place.
I bring their toys, one cat tower, food etc.
I was thinking of doing a feliway over there this time and maybe leaving some of our unwashed clothes.
Is there anything else I can do to make it as least stressful as possible?
