Fed the cat tonight and he wandered off the the litter tray as per routine half hour later...heard a bit of rustling of litter then the cat started crying at the top of his voice.
I ran in thinking the Cystitis had come back and he was in pain but no...there was a beetle the size of your thumbnail digging around in the litter tray.
I had to remove the beetle before he would have a poop.
Can you believe it..if the beetle was outside in the grass he would have eaten it..but in the litter tray it must have looked like a terrible monster in there.
Cats are nuts.
