Oh, she DOES have a beautiful voice. Tone and depth are spot-on.

And she would do even better with some voice training. Her control was not the greatest in that Huffington Post video, but she was undoubtedly extremely nervous, so it was to be expected.

Give her time to develop, and I bet she'll win.

I really appreciate great vocals but I just don't get those chills from her like I do with some of the other contestants. I am certainly not saying she can't sing because obviously that isn't the case but I don't know. Her voice just doesn't go through me.

Maybe I am just oblivious to her since I am a die-hard Melanie Amaro fan.
