Now fof the ferals awaited names, Victoria and Levick (levick is a male)

Their grey kittens! They also now kinda interested in playing.. even though their ferals and sometimes would even socalize with the big boys Maverick and Echo!

We all love grey kittens. Their so fluffy and so beautiful. We as a group are trying to post more. Sorry if we dont post we are so busy with strays. This month we have been working on saving alot of strays. Some strays are adopted out while some are with our relatives. Planning on neutering/spaying alissa on the earliest time.

My two ferals are the same way, they aren't afraid of other cats, only people. It sounds like you're busy, so thanks for taking the time to post an update.

Hi again! We've been trying so hard to post updates :c Today Alissa will have her spaying/neutering next week. For time safety we have to put her in a room with food and water in case of escaping.

Happy to tell you guys the ferals have been playing with toys! they love everything! so we don't put them in the room anymore. we put them in the main room to have fun. They don't bite and they meow a lot.

Oh good, I'm glad that you got the kittens so young. It's hard to teach older ferals not to bite and scratch.

I feel your struggles. Our family used to have a family feral cat who bite and scratch the family members (we got him from the shelter) and every day our relatives will come back with bleeding arms.

Alissa is spayed! She is happy with her life and meows for treats! She is a big piece of love! We all snuggle with this beauty as she is the queen. We bought a bean bag for our own use, but we wanted to test it out on a cat. Maverick did not care at all and just slept in his normal bed but Echo on the other paw... He was freaking out and very cat shocked.

-- Stray News ---
Today we saw a stray cat on the ground rolling all over when he saw us! he is the cutest and flirtiest cat we ever have seen. It seemed like he had an owner, but the owner dumped him. We looked around and asked people if the cat had an owner, no, the cat did not and was dumped a few weeks ago. This cat shows his fluffy belly on the ground. We also notice when he was walking he had a slight limp, can you explain why?

Oh great that Alissa is spayed. She’s thanking you for having her spayed.

Just a word of caution here with the bean bag. Make sure none of the cats scratch it and make a hole in it and let the foam beans out. They are dangerous to the cats if swallowed.

As for the cat with a limp, it’s hard to tell what’s wrong with him. It could be an old injury and if he’s an older cat, it could be arthritis but we would never know. Does he looks like he’s pain and cannot fully rest his weight on the leg? Best is to have a vet check it out.

Hi. That's wonderful that you got Alissa spayed... Maybe you can put a washable cover over the bean bag chair, or even put a sheet or blanket around it for now...The limp on the stray cat could be from anything. Maybe he fell, got into a fight with an animal, or got hit by a car.

Thanks for your help. the cat is very young to us. It looks very small sized like your cat that you have. We dont know if this is also a thing to worry about, but the tail wasnt solid it looked like it was cutted off. The limp looks like is affecting how he walks. I am so sorry i never took a pic to analyse him.

Do you see an open wound? Whatever it is that made him limp while walking, best if he could be checked by a vet if you can.

As for the tail or limping, he might be abused when he was very young and therefore these are the signs you see  :dunno:

He was meowing softly and he allowed us to pet him. We could see clearly that he had a straight tiny slice wound on his back leg. We are going to bring him back and try to find a temporary solution for him. What do we do now that we have him in our apartment? Should we be giving him medicine or antibotics?

Is it an open wound and does it look like a fresh wound or looks like it’s healing and dry. Is it bleeding or is there any pus?

For the time being, you can get some antiseptic cream and saline water from the pet shop and clean the wound gently and apply the cream. If it looks bad, bring him to the vet. Hopefully the wound is not infected. Best is to let the vet have a look and also give him a good overall check.

That’s good. Keep the wound dry and make sure he dosen’t bite the wound. Just watch for new raw redness just in case he bites during grooming.

he has been a good boy lately! no bites on his wound. his wound is healed and looks very clean. Also, do you suggest having cats eat prepared food? We have an idea on doing it but we arent sure.

That’s good to hear that the wound has healed.

Not sure on what you meant by ‘prepared food’. Care to share your idea before embarking on it?
