Strange and Scary Reaction

Earlier in this section I posted about my cats and their reaction to plants that were listed all over the internet as being Non-Toxic.
The reaction was brutal and it was posted in that thread that although they are non-toxic, they can have a reaction. And my cats' were severe!
A Word of Caution about Plants

Last night I thought I would pop myself some plain dry popcorn in the micro and I topped it with a nacho cheese powder by Kernal Seasons.

There was no butter or oil, and when I sat down (kitty at my side) the Air Conditioner blew some of the powder around, She also stuck her nose in the bowl as cats do and took a whiff. I thought nothing of it.... UNTIL LATER!!!
The night light showed her in the room just staring at the wall way up high like she saw a moth or fly. There was nothing on the wall. She started to Meow , walk frantically around and kept brushing her head and body against me. Another wall. Same staring w/o flinching. And another one. It was obviously she was afraid.
At first i thought it was rain tapping on the A/C or perhaps a mouse in the wall(I don;t have mice). But she kept looking at 'things' on the walls, walking around meowing and rubbing against me, jumping on the bed and then stopping to gaze at another wall w/o flinching for several minutes. It was alarming and I though I would have to take her to get a sedative to calm her down, but decided to wait it out. It continued for hours, but is ok today.
The only thing she could have gotten into that was different from her usual day was the whiff of nacho Powder on my popcorn.
Crazy, huh?!
The ingredients are below. Who would'a thunk?!
Needless to say the stuff is in the trash..both for her health and mine.

I'm glad she is ok today. My cats often just stare up at a wall behind me, or at the ceiling, etc. It always makes me think there is a scorpion up there or something, but I never see a thing. Dogs used to do this too when we had them. I always thought it was just an animal thing. But not the other stuff she was doing. Maybe she didn't like the paprika in that concoction . I've got some that I purchased when I traveled to Spain, and it's SPICY!

The whole incident was filled with fear and panic. She rubbed against me in a frenzy and couldn't settle except when staring up at the walls. I never want to see her like that again.

I would get her in for a check up because there could be some other cause and it had nothing to do with the topping etc. I am glad she is ok.

She is goiing to be seen next week for a diet because she is gaining weight from eating and craving and meowing for food like there is no tomorrow! But she hasn't shown any of that scary stuff since that one time.
