Ruby glared at the teddy bear, "If you like your head attached to your shoulders, hush."

Ruby's jealousy and rage often consumed her, but as she sat there thinking, she decided to turn the car around and go back for Kitty and the dogs which she loved and could, now, not live without.

Scarlett and Daisy just looked at each other again, shrugged, and turned their attention back to the row of kittens stretching right across the rear window shelf, tails twitching and ears pricked.

Afterall, the 4 had been close friends since the 4th grade, all growing up in the same neighborhood, their childhood homes still occupied by each of their parents, except for Kitty's house of course, who was occupied by Kitty and her abusive husband, since 3 months after the tragic accident that took her parents from her.

 

[cat nap]

So the little teddy bear with the sewn on head asked, "Are we there yet?",  as Ruby was driving, and Daisy and Scarlett were watching the kittens intently.

It was starting to get smelly by then, a few of the kittens had used the rear window as well as the floor in the back seat as a potty box, since it had been hours now since they were able to go, so it was obvious, soon they will NEED to land somewhere.

'No, not there yet' said Daisy, ' but we are nearly at a store and I can smell fresh coffee and kitty snacks'!

 

[catwoman707]

They all started whining for Ruby to pull off at the nearby quick stop store, stretch their legs, get some coffee and snacks, and some kitty (canned food for the kittens to eat.

They thought maybe they could ask the worker there about getting an empty box to put some litter or dirt in so the kittens could all relieve themselves, along with some cleaner and paper towels to take care of those who just couldn't hold it and went in Ruby's car.

The five minutes it took to reach the store felt like an hour but the sigh of relief when Daisy and Scarlett came out of the shop, Daisy with two large paper bags in her arms and Scarlett with two shallow cardboard trays and a pile of old news papers could probably be heard for miles.

They silently began getting things together for the kittens, Daisy busy opening cans at the same time had snagged up a bag of Lay's chips and shoved a stack in her mouth crunching happily, while Scarlett was shredding the newspaper for the litter boxes, and all the kittens whining like mad at the idea of some scrumptious canned food, but everyone stopped when suddenly Scarlett let out a gasp as she caught a glimpse of the picture on the front page of the paper, it was Carl!.....

 

[mservant]

'WANTED, for theft of police car outside local bar ealier today, Carl D. Boxer should be approached with caution.'

 

[fhicat]

Under his handsome photo was the caption, "Catnapper Wanted By Cops -- Suspect's Wife Kicked Meowwt".

As Scarlett continued reading the article, a sweat broke out on her forehead as she recognizes the police car.

At 'Last seen speeding off in a stolen police car with a female and 4 large Alsation dogs and a King Charles Spaniel' she stopped reading and looked across at her two friends and their newly aquainted kitten pile happily tucking in to their bowl of food blissfully unaware of how close they had come to being caught up in a robbery. 

 

[misssweetkitty]

Scarlett then shouted, "Guys! Kitty and the dogs were kidnapped! What are we going to do?!"

 

[cat nap]

Ruby was seeing red by this point, "She wasn't kidnapped, Scar, she stole Carl from me, and stole my dogs, too.", not really believing that her friend could back stab her like that.

 

[catwoman707]

Then again, she was silent, as the memory came back to her of the time in her life, she was lonely, so very lonely, just a young girl still in high school, and how she loved the way Kitty's boyfriend treated her, so she betrayed her childhood friend and took her boyfriend away, making Kitty furious, who vowed that one day, she would pay her back for that, if it takes her all her life, she would pay her back, show her just how it made HER feel way back then.....

 

[cat nap]

So they all jumped back into the car, and headed back towards the bar, to find any clues that they knew Kitty would have left for them to follow.

At that very moment, everyone including the kittens ran out of the bar, except of course Carl and his new love Kitty, as they watched together out the door as Daisy and Ruby, along with all of the little kittens hopped into Ruby's little car, the tiny black kitten jumping up into the rear window and waving a tiny paw so-long to Carl and Kitty.

They managed to clean up the car quickly then jumped in and started racing off in the direction Carl and blank were :dk:.

(Recap:  Hi Stewball, the story now finds....

It was not Ruby in heat, but rather Kitty who meowed loudly.  Ruby was the one in love with Carl, and gazing into his eyes, because she likes guys like Carl.

  Somehow, things got moving fast with Kitty being left at the bar, while Ruby, Daisy and Scarlett taking off in Ruby's car with all the 8 kittens.

Carl and Kitty have stolen a police car, with the dogs and the bar money, and then passed the car containing  the other friends Ruby, Daisy and Scarlett. 

Ruby was driving, while Daisy and Scarlett were in the back seat, with the 8 kittens by rear window. The teddy bear, with the sewn on head, is riding in the front passenger seat.

They all stopped at a convenience store, by the hi-way, and bought supplies for the kittens, canned food,  cleaning supplies for the car, and got boxes for litter/dirt for the kittens to potty in.

Then they suddenly see a newspaper, saying that Carl had stolen the police car and that a female was with him, plus the dogs, too.

Kitty might have been kidnapped, but maybe not....not sure yet?.

They were going back to the bar,  but now racing off in the direction of Carl and Kitty's last known direction, who had passed them earlier.
