My boy Spencer loves to cuddle up in bed.  If I'm laying on my right side, he likes to cuddle in front by my hips so I can pet him.  When I'm laying on my left side, I'm near the edge of the bed, so there isn't any room for him in front of me, so he goes to where my Abby

Thank you!  He is a sweet boy.

When he was a baby he loved to be held and snuggled.  As he got older, he got away from that and would come within fingertip distance for head rubs.  But he stopped liking being picked up and being held

For the last few weeks though, when we're in bed and he's in front of me by my hips, he's been allowing me to drag him up closer to my head and cuddle him close to me with one arm, while giving him head and belly rubs with the other.  But I don't hold him tight, he knows that when he's had enough he can turn over easily and leave.

I wish Katie were more cuddly, but she's more the playful type and will only come for affection when it suits her, which isn't very often.  She will sit on the desk by my keyboard and allow me to pet her, and occasionally to pick her up and give her about 15 seconds of head rubs and kisses before she wiggles away.
