I have tried my cat with a cone she absolutely hates anything that is on her I have tried to put on like clothes to protect her incision but she finds a away to take it off. No matter what I try to put on her she gets off LOL. I have cut a sock into a tube like shape and have put it on her to just cover the wound from licking. It isn’t a loose or too tight of a fit it is perfectly snug. She hasn’t been able to get this off. Is this okay? Or?

Mine HATED the cone. I ended up buying her a surgical recovery suit from chewy. She hates it and is the biggest drama queen ever but it keeps her from licking her belly.

The sock should be okay. Just make sure it stays clean, use another sock or two if you have to, and make sure it is not too tight.
