Spay incision

My cat got spayed about 5 days ago and on her incision site she have a bump , it’s this normal or should I be concerned? She eating and going to the bathroom normal and there’s no ozzing redness on the incision

This is a common occurrence after a spay. It will go away on its own in a few weeks. It occurs during the healing process of the layers of skin that were opened and stitched back during the spay. Nothing to worry about unless the lump or incision become infected. It has always resolved with no issues in every cat or kitten I have had spayed over the years.

Thanks and I wasn’t sure if I should take her to get check but since I don’t see any redness and was looking on goggle, I was just going to monitor the incision.
