So my cat got spayed 3 days ago and i want to make sure the incision looks normal? My cat is 4 months old and very hyperactive. it’s hard to keep her contained but i’ve been monitoring her everyday. Is it normal for the purple stitch to be that long and stick out? It looks like the incision is drying up alittle bit but today it looks alittle swollen to the right of the stitch. Please let me know if it looks like it’s healing properly! Thankyou

the incision looks pretty good, but I'm with you, I wish they hadn't left that stitch hanging out like that. Maybe you can talk to the clinic and see if they can trim it, or something? I'm afraid it'll get hung up on something as she's playing, and drag along various materials and irritate the skin.
