Can anyone tell me what this might be? I noticed this sore on his nose today and he's acting lethargic (maybe, I'm not sure if I'm just being paranoid) and kind of moving his jaw up and down at times, like if he was eating something. I'm worried and not sure if he needs to go the vet right away or if I should just keep an eye on it to see if it heals. I cleaned it and I've been putting triple antibiotic on it.

I don't know- it might be a mass of some sort, but since he is experiencing other worrisome symptoms, I would take him to the vet.

That looks very alarming, and the fact that it is causing his behavior to change makes me say vet ASAP. There are things you just don't want to wait on. He could have ran into something, there could be a tumor in his nose, really a million possibilities. But when a cats behavior changes they need to see a vet.

Hi - I hope your kitty has recovered? What did the lesion turn out to be?
