Just an update-constipation is still in check. Growth in intestine is stable for almost 1 year, so no more imaging unless she gets symptoms-yay!. Latest blood work shows a slight upward trend in her kidney values from last year, so we are considering the early stages of CKD. Very overwhelming to think of that, but we will deal with it just like all the other medical problems. Right now specialist and regular vet recommend rechecking levels in 6 months and monitoring her appetite, drinking and litter box behavior. Right now she shows nothing out of the ordinary.

Miralax is usually the go to. You can mix it in the cat's wet food or else make a slurry and syringe it into the mouth.
But what is working for my cat right now is Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Response food. You can get wet or canned. It's prescription. It's been a godsend for us. She loves it and she has big poops nearly every day. Run that by your vet. You can even mix it with whatever your cat is eating now, half and half.

It's one thing to have an overweight cat but a cat that does not poop does not last long. I think that's a priority over weight loss. At least right now.
I have a question about the Royal Canin food that your kitty is on. The fiber response one. Do your cats ever experience cramping from it? My kitty is on this but sometimes I think it is overkill. It works but it takes a toll on him. He gets in an uncomfortable position or flat on the floor like he's waiting for his movement to get closer to elimination. Then he's fine after his BM. Until next time.
