My 12 yo Skye girl got up with a sudden cold this morning? Constant sneezing, warm red ears, restless though wants to sleep. Eating and drinking some. A million trips to the box and almost seems like a tummy ache with just a few dribbles here and there. One eye a little pink and squinting. I am 83, alone with Skye, no transport. Just wondering are there any tips to make my girl better such as, for her apparent tummy ache, possible fever? Thanks for any comments. Anything I could get her online??

Stuck in the same boat. I'm 53 and can't drive. Last time my cat had a cold I put her in a bed that heats up. Away from my other cats so she could rest. If she has uti only a vet can help.

Thank you. I think she is a tiny bit better tonight. Ears not so red anymore, ate and drank enough water. Loved being brushed gently. I ordered some Lysine powder which should be in tomorrow. I can sprinkle in her pate which she likes me to mix a little warm water in also. Her bed is body heating and it is a dog's bed as she is about 20 pounds. She is used to being treated like a queen! LOL

Because she is senior consider getting a probiotic. There are so many out there i have been trying to decide which one to get. Adored beast feline gut sooth I give to my cat with ibd. My cat peaches, also a senior, may have lymphoma so I may try ab lovebug which is a pre probiotic. It is for the immune system. Still studying it. I also have used other brands. Glad she is feeling better

Thanks so much! Been doing cool packs on her bum for comfort and to keep clean. Follow with a bit of vaseline for comfort and skin protection. It's been scary but I also started some kitty L Lysine. She is way ahead now in all areas. When she is well will have a senior labs panel and check done too.
