This afternoon, I noticed that one of my two-year-old cats has a small, skin-colored lump at the base of his ear. He is acting perfectly fine, and didn't seem bothered when I touched it lightly, but I'm worried that it could be something serious.

Where do you think?
Is he an indoor cat? If he goes out he could have an abscessed bite wound this would need to be drained by the vet.

It also looks like it could just be a wart but he's pretty young to be getting growths.

If you can afford it, I would get the vet to check it out. My cat had a tumor on his head since he was a kitten. The vets told me it was probably benign and not to worry about it, but recently had it cut out and they said it was a slow growing malignant tumor. They think they got it all, thank goodness.
