Ally has been making these noises, I hate to say since she's gained weight, I never noticed it when she was little. Her tongue makes a clucking sound like we can with our tongues and the roof of our mouth. She does this when she eats, drinks and bathes, its getting a little annoying b/c its so constant and people just stare at her. Anyone else get this sound from their cats?

Have her teeth been checked recently?

How old is she, how much does she weigh? When was the last time the vet did bloodwork on her?

She's 4/12 and weighed in at 13.6 beginning of Jan. Her last blood workup was over a year ago which was fine, the vet said last month he didn't see a need this year. His main concern was her weight which she's now on a new diet for. But the clucking has been going on for a while now, he said it could just be the noise she makes but I think its kind of odd, at least I've never heard it from cats.
