Hey everyone! My almost 20 yo male cat has a skin tag or mole on his back that I found today. Took the best pictures I could. Anyone seen something similar? Should I do anything about it? Thanks in advance!

Yes, that is exactly what it is, a mole.
Leave it alone, it should stay the same and not cause any issues at all.
My Krissy ( in my avatar pic) has one on the side of her eye and one on her neck as well.
Had them for years, no issues.
That said if you do ever see it changing, getting pink around it and it growing a good amt bigger then I would ask the vet if it should be removed.

Hi. Whatever it is, you might want to send a pic to your vet and see what they say. If they tell you to just watch it, take periodic pics of it in order to be able to gauge whether or not it is growing in size, and by how much and the duration of time. Any changes to it in the immediate future can then be reported to the vet with the additional pics. I take it he is not bothered by it?

Thanks guys! I’ll keep a watchful eye on it. No, it doesn’t seem to bother him at all. He bites/scratches at it occasionally, but it’s pretty rare for him to do that.
