She seems like maybe she's a little more active now, too.
You are doing a great job and she is progressing in the right direction. I found this great website (PEOPLE interviewed the Kitten Lady today & it should be on YouTube) and she has all kinds of great tips on kitten care. You might enjoy looking at it:
Guess I need to get a new picture now that she's crossed the 700 gram mark.
She's a full pound and a half. Doing well!
She is doing well - thank you for the update!
Wow, I guess she is! I'm so used to weighing everthing in grams I sometimes forget what pounds are! And I just noticed, she's now twice her first weight! Here is a picture of her eyes. They are much better now, though the left one is still a little gooey.
She is so beautiful! And her boxy muzzle, round paws and large, triangular, tufty ears sure make her look like she had Maine Coon ancestry
Have you been using terramycin on her eyes?
I have, but not as often as I should.
Okay, start using it again so the other eye will clear up.
I've been doing both eyes, but not as often as I should. My bad.
I understand. Use it every day, twice a day, for 5 days. The eyes should be clear by then.
here is today's. I think maybe she hadn't used the litter box yet, lol.
She's a very healthy kitten!
What a marvelous improvement from the beginning of this thread - a cat rescuer's dream come true!
Thanks everyone for your support and advice. Here is today's chart. It's a loss from yesterday, but still acceptable.
A 20 gram loss? That's a lot.
What caused that?
It is a lot, and I would be worried if it was any less than 775. I think she hadn't pooped and peed yet, and I think she might have just eaten, cause her belly was huge when I weighed her.
Just weighed her again, and she's 860 grams, but I suspect most of that weight is from the food she has eaten this morning.
