Is the sunflower oil a healthy ingredient for cats?

I dont know as its bad, or good either, i have read both ways. I prefer to find foods with only animal sources of proteins, and fats for my guys. But that's really hard to do. And sunflower oil is in almost everything.

I've heard conflicting stuff about coconut oil, too. I figure when in doubt, don't give to excess. Moderation. AAFCO allowed it, so if I want to give it from time to time - just like with fish based foods. I just won't use it as a daily.

I will feed the Wellness Core from time to time but not daily.

Most of the complete foods by them (non tuna) contain some amount of chicken. I try to avoid too much of any one protein.
