They have a CAT DEPARTMENT?

I've only been in the stores once or twice and can't stand them because I get lost / confused / overwhelmed, but I like the merch online. I'll look and see their cat stuff. That might be worth a drive.

*I don't actually mind building stuff, but I hate lugging it.
In my local IKEA, there are these items:

Cat Furniture & Accessories - Scratchers, Houses & More

I loved their paper catalogs. Saved all I could. I used to look through them and imagine I lived there. *Yeah, I know. Quirky. There was actually a film made about a girl who lived in a Walmart. But I don't want to live in one of those.* I love going there. I call it "Disneyland for adults" because it's my favorite place to go. And I love the food. Love the cafeteria, and love buying the food to take home, especially the vegetarian meat(less)balls and the coffee. Swedes, if you don't know, LOVE coffee and have some of the best coffee in the world, not grown there, of course, but sold there and globally. Gevalia is a Swedish company that sells coffee, coffeemakers, etc. I used to get their coffee delivered, and have had several of their coffeemakers.

I refuse to drink those K-Cup things or Starbucks :barfgreen: but my Gevalia coffeemaker makes great coffee of whatever brand I choose. Plus, it has a blue nightlight in the clock. How many coffeemakers can claim that?:lol2: The boyz, of course, don't care about coffee, but they do like their dining area.

I actually had BOTH boys on my lap earlier, because I'd picked Elvis up and put him on my lap to check for fleas :sigh: and the kid (that's really getting to be his #1 nickname) immediately barrelled onto the dining room table from there, onto my lap. Elvis growled rather tiredly. That's as far as it went. They're itchy and it's very hot, so I don't blame Elvis for protesting.

This one always breaks my heart a little.. Sundar at six months. He really wanted his big sister to love him. :(
You also get an idea of his spinal deformity, (which along with the pectus excavatum, that threatened to take him as a little kitten.)

Our kittens are getting big. Fred and Barney got their vaccinations yesterday, and they are up to 3.4 lbs. Yoda and Chewy go next Friday, and I think they will be around 4 lbs. (they are a few weeks older than Fred and Barney).

Here they are playing with the tunnel.

Barney and Chewy are outside, Yoda is in the tunnel, and if you look to the right, you can see part of Fred at the end of the tunnel.

Family 1 - on table: Shelby (Tortie), Seaby (calico) and Randy. They showed up in our backyard, at 3 weeks old per Vet, in 100+ degrees temp, no mama anywhere!
3 yrs later - young cat came to our backyard and we soon discovered she was pregnant. The day we fully comingled her with the originals, sitting next to me on the sofa, with a twist and a light meow, babies were on the way! Mama, Gracy, gave us twin Classic Tabbies - Roxy & Moxy, Minny, and the black, lovable 18 pound beast, Tuxy, who thinks he has to fall asleep laying on my chest!! We lost Shelby to health issues 12-2023.... RIP baby girl, we will never forget our 8 years with you in our family.
