Thank you.

I've tons of photos and some shots of the same subject I shoot at a slightly different angle and that make it harder to choose as they look almost the same.
I used to take rolls and rolls of film for the same reason. I liked getting every angle and all possible exposures. Sometimes a slight difference can “make” the photo!

When I was overseas, I shot a ton of b&w- mostly Tri-x pan- but all of those photos have disappeared. I had left them at home when I returned on leave, and I think my mother tossed them on me while I was gone again. The same thing happened to my baseball card and stamp collections. Oh well.

I love your stork pictures. They nest in the same place every year, is that right? Do the young birds come back and nest near their parents?
The male stork made a nest on top of that cross monument for the first time in 2017, but unfortunately he did not succeed to lure a lady stork that year. He had more succes the next year, and since then the pair is nesting every year at the same spot. I have no information on the whereabouts of the young ones.
Last year, the local authorities tried to discourage the pair to make their nest on top of the monument because of the heavy weight and they offered them a platform (see picture) close to the original nesting spot, but all in vain.

I feel privileged to watch them.
