Haven't been here in a while!
Nice shot, there. I used to do stuff like that with my old Canon FTb 35mm- a metal monster that would serve as a weapon in a pinch. One of my grand- nieces was going to school down in Pittsburgh, and needed a camera for one of her classes, so I gave it to her.Took a slew of pix tonight, playing with settings on the Pen-F. Some in color, some B&W; the camera has a nice mono filter built in to it and I also programmed it to save a particular "look" of black and white.
Normally, I'd do some post processing to enhance areas, but didn't bother with it this time because I'm still trying to figure out how to get the images from the camera uploaded and preserve the EXIF info on the image.
For some reason, whenever I push it through via various apps it loses the info, especially when I work on it. This time, I emailed it to myself which does save the information. This probably doesn't mean much to anyone so pardon the technical jargon; but I keep my images on Flickr and like having that EXIF so that I can remember the shutter/ISO/aperature/etc info - it's a good way to learn from my mistakes or successes. And, I like reading other people's also as it helps me understand their methods for what I like in their images.
I still have my first film camera - a Pentax K1000. I keep meaning to send it out to be cleaned and tested to be sure it's working ok. Last time I held it I seem to remember it was a bit "sticky" when advancing the film. I'd love to start shooting with it again also.Nice shot, there.
