My Missy showed up with this (less colourful but big (!)) caterpillar of the Willowherb hawk moth. It left unharmed.

It was the first time Missy caught a Willhowherb caterpillar; after bringing it to me, she left it, because it was moving a lot and she seemed a bit unsure about how to handle it. It's not the first time that Missy catches a pray, comes to me to show it and leaves it to me to decide what to do with it...

Oh yea. Lizards are one of me favorite subject to shoot. What you have here is one that belongs to the Skink Family.

Was just checking the I.D. of your blue tail, seems like it's a Five Lined Skink.

We too have a Five Lined Skink here but have not seen one with the blue tail yet or maybe it's not ingenious here.

Bumblebee seemed indeed very happy and relaxed, Katie M ; it stayed for more than 5 minutes; I had plenty of time to admire him/her...
