Sorry, Sketch! Orange cats are "usually" male. But my beloved angel Rojita was a very vibrant red tabby girl.

Yeah when I adopted Sketch my vet told me that only about 20% of orange cats are female, pretty cool! Do you have a photo of your Rojita?

Unfortunately they're in my 35mm archive and not scanned. She was a true beauty!

She was. She showed up in our front yard 2 locations ago with panfur Calo and white Timmy. Calo and Rojita were adopted into our large cat furmily; Tim was unsuccessfully treated for a skin problem and accepted into Best Friends in Utah, where he was healed and eventually adopted by a wonderful lady from Canada. He had a long and loved life with her.

Not to go too OT, here is our beloved angel Elvis, who left us on 30 August. He was the most handsome of blue/cream tabbymen.
