I am deathly allergic to cats--always have been. So when my wife stumbled upon a supposed "hypoallergenic" breed called siberians I was intrigued. Then when I saw a picture I was in love. I dove into deep research mode, and two weeks later (Dec. 26th, 2017) we got our first kitten! I had very mild reactions the first two days, then nothing since...which is like a minor miracle in my world.

Shiva has been an overwhelming joy to have added into our family of a shih tzu and three ferrets. She has chosen me as her favorite, and I'm ridiculously thrilled about it! She follows me all over the house and loves to snuggle up in my lap for what can sometimes be hours long naps. She tolerates my wife, but loves me. =)
