I know some people have luck on Facebook and getting the word out about foster homes being needed..maybe try that avenue too?

Crittermon, so sorry to read about the flooding! Gosh, as if you don't have enough to deal with. Btw, the more you handle the kitties, the quicker they will be socialized to humans and the easier it will be to place them.

Best of luck with all the wet!

I am beyond words for someone who could dump a box of kittens off. It absolutely infuriates me.

You are a true angel to help the little guys/gals out.

I do NOT want to take them to a shelter to subject them to diseases.....or to be put down because of over population.
I REALLY truly do NOT need them here, because of Seth. But, I honestly see NO other choice but to do that.Atleast until there is an opening in the Rescue, they are old enough to be adopted or old enough to go to the Shelter.
I REALLY HATE PEOPLE SOMETIMES!!!
You can list them in the classifieds of http://www.petfinder.com

You can conduct the e-mail campaign Pam suggested and I provided some details on how to do it.

You can register at the Best Friends No More Homeless Pets Campaign, go to the "go local" section for your state, and post in the forums there: http://network.bestfriends.org/GoLocal/Default.aspx

There's an easy-to-use flyer maker program in the Best Friends Resource Library: http://www.bestfriends.org/nomorehom...sourcelibrary/ You can set it up for adoptions or looking for a foster home.

Here are more resources at Best Friends to help you get them placed: http://www.bestfriends.org/nomorehom...tionsindex.cfm

Otherwise, I'd just mention the situation EVERYWHERE. Turns out someone working at the local deli rescues ferals. You never know who may be able to help.

Good luck!

Well done, hurray for you! Was it difficult to let them go, even a tiny bit?
