Pots are here and with their plants in

Both are going to work tomorrow. I think I have enough plants at work now  I do want a few more plants for home, maybe a Panda Plant and similar fuzzy succulents.

Thanks! My co-worker commented that the pots look like tea cups  The Frizzle Sizzle got a little droopy overnight but had perked up by this afternoon.

My mystery bonus succulent needs a bigger pot. I thought the pot I had bought for it would be big enough but the entire succulent covers the top and it's hard to water  The garden center didn't have any good larger pots with drainage the last time I went and I don't expect them to have any new ones. I'll look on Etsy for a pot.

All your pots are beautiful. I love the designs on them. I'm sure you will find a pretty pot for the mystery plant. The mystery plant I got will go in my succulent dish garden. It has large leaves that already are over the sides of the plastic pot.

I got the whale pot and Frizzle Sizzle, but the whale is so big it's going to take a while for the Frizzle to grow into it. It was much smaller than I expected, but since it's bulb, it should grow larger.

My Frizzle Sizzle bulb is a little smaller than a golf ball. I guess it would also worked as "hair" for my cat pot :) The pot is the same size as the cat pot so I had to elevate it so it wouldn't get stuck.

It's too bad the garden center doesn't have plastic nursery pots for sale. I think I need a 4 inch one for the mystery succulent and then a nice decorative cache pot to hide the plastic pot in. I can only find nursery pots sold by the dozen online. They're not expensive but I don't need a dozen pots.

Could you find a yogurt pot the right size and make some drainage holes in the bottom?

I took my indoor plants out for a sunbathe today.

I stopped by the garden center. And picked up a pot for the mystery succulent, a new plant, and a pot to put new plant in

This is the same as the one I have my Jade in at work, just a different design.

Watermelon peperomia and cat and mouse pot. I'll re-pot the plant directly into the cat and mouse pot. There's a plug inside I can remove to allow for drainage.

There were other designs for the pot:

Also stopped by the Cave of Wonders. It hasn't moved down the street yet.

Spotted this at the Cave of Wonders:

It looks like a "Hairy Harry" succulent. It was $12. The garden center had the same plant for $19 but it was in a ceramic pot:

Picked up two 4 inch pots from the overflow Bulls Eye section at Target:

There was another terra cotta colored pot and three black ones but I decided to just get the two. Now I just plants to fill them

Another trip to the garden center today  It was for work purposes really  We have a new hire starting next week and thought it would be nice to get him welcome plant gift. So off to the garden center I went  The snake and ZZ plants were too large for a desk (more like floor plants) so I chose a small neon yellow-green pothos that can tolerate neglect and a cache pot. I texted pictures and the team approved the purchase.

I have the pothos at home right now hopefully where the cats won't touch it :paranoid: :fear:Pothos is toxic to cats. I'm taking the plant to work tomorrow.

There weren't too many fun indoor plants today. I did wander in the outside section and found catnip:

Neither cat reacts to catnip so I didn't buy a pot.

Poppycat loves 'nip, so I finally moved on (mostly) from the dried versions and tried my hand at growing some.

He's extremely grateful LOL

Live catnip plants smell so good :D Some cats like the fresh leaves better than dried. My cats are just oddballs  Leroy would just eat all the leaves off a catnip plants and then :barf:

Catnip and catmint aren't the same thing. Catnip is an annual that is grown from seed. Catmint is a small shrub that dies to the ground every year. Catmint is not attractive to cats.

Here's my catnip - I guess these plants can get quite large, but there's no way I'm putting it outside in my yard. I can't even imagine the influx of cats drawn to it :fear::help: LOL

I planted a row - a 15-foot row - of catnip in my vegetable garden once. It grew to about 12-18 inches high. None of the neighborhood cats came around, but my mostly indoor cat rolled around in it, drunk. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to dry it very well.

You all remember how excited head planters make me?? Target sale enticed me to buy these three and cannot wait to plant in them! I coordinated for them all to have green patterns on the bottom to match as they do have other colors, too.

Whoops! Do you think it will survive?

My plants have some kool colors and interesting growth shapes due to a longer period with out water.

I saw similar head planters at the garden center :) One of them kind of looks like Einstein  I can just imagine a wild looking bushy plant in that

Your plants look great! My plants are... alive  They get watered when they need to, occasionally with diluted fertilizer. The ones at home on the cart get moved around so they're not in direct sunlight.
