Yeah the spiky ones are Thanksgiving cacti. Mine are blooming right now, just in time! I'm trying to find a real Christmas cactus. . .it's not easy.
Now I want to find one too. But since I basically am only going to the grocery store these days, I probably won't have any luck. Maybe next year.

Got this massive aglaonema madonna for $12 at my local grocery store. They had tropical plants on clearance for several weeks and every time I'd go to the store, I'd see it. Before we got there, I said, "If that plant is still there, it's meant for me." Lo and behold, after all this time, still no one bought it. So I did.

It's not til December 1st but thank you! 🥰

Happy belated birthday :celebrate:

The Pilea is still hanging out on my dark kitchen counter during the week. So far it seems to be doing ok :crossfingers: On weekends I move it to the coffee table for more light since the cats spend their time in the bedroom. I'm still looking at small grow lamps. But I may not need it if I get the ok to bring the plant to work. We have a dedicated lounge on a separate floor and the huge windows let in plenty of light from the north. There are blinds that can be pulled down if needed.

Got these two at a discount for a Black Friday sale. On the left is Tillandsia streptophylla and on the right is capitata peach.

Little ones are doing so well. I wonder if the pot will get too crowded when they get bigger...

Oxalis triangularis is going very well. All the bulbs have little leaves coming out of them now. Took a while for them to sprout but they have been growing like crazy.

The halves all rooted so I potted them up. One of them even has a tiny pup on it.

Graceful-Lily Graceful-Lily That plant shelf is epic <3 Love all the air plants hanging off in the artistic holders. The tillansdia is really neat, too. Love the shape and how the thick leaves downturn.

Ah, all those babies! You are doing great propagating all those!

The oxalis reminds me of a 3 leaf clover, but a beautiful purply red version. That color is so pretty!

Today Dec.:

Thinking of gifting the smaller one to a friend. She keeps lower light requirement succulents, and I for sure know this is one. Need to repot some other plants to have the perfect pot to give it to her in.

Prepped my friend gift. She loves owls, so fitting to use an owl planter.

This one was repot to give more storage for roots as they grow a large taproot. If you guys remember the one I almost lost to root rot, this is it. All the offshoots are new.

One of my water propagate clippings. Finally potted.

This one was in the owl and was upgraded to a larger pot. May need to behead it soon. It looks tired from holding itself up.

Should I be concerned about the dead dried leaves at the bottom of my succulents? Do I need to re pot?

20201222_142029_HDR[1].jpg

Also, the heart shaped Hoya succulent has roots coming out the bottom of the pot. Re potting time?

Leaves die, so I wouldn't be concerned about that, but to me, roots coming out the bottom = repotting time. :)
