We've recently adopted a nine-month old semi-feral, long-haired cat. He's been with us about a month, and he's mostly ok with us, but he doesn't like to be touched; he'll flee if he thinks we're getting too close. He's got some poop stuck to his hind quarters, and there's no way he's letting us close enough to clean him up. Our last attempt at doing so resulted in some wounds and scratches. Any advice would be welcome.
